The weekend
We’re bringing our favourite people together for a summer evening at The Algonquin—ocean air, a grand old hotel, a long dinner and a very good dance floor.
Patientia coronat amorem · Patience crowns love
Yes, Dani created a family crest. Why? Because she can. Is anyone really surprised?

Our story
Somewhere between shared calendars, joint problem-solving, surviving several winters together, raising a family and successfully not dying on ski hills, we built a life.
The life behind the photos
In no particular order, we’ve survived:
We’ve also said goodbye to one beloved father and two much-loved pets.
Some years were easier than others. Through all of it, we kept choosing each other.
So now we’re getting married.
And we’d really like a party.
A decade in the making. Worth the wait.
A few moments along the way
Saturday
Dinner will ease into sunset, and the dance floor will open just as the summer sky turns to night.
Travel & stay
A block of rooms has been arranged for our guests at The Algonquin Resort. St. Andrews is rather popular in the summertime, so we recommend booking early.
Our room-block link books a standard room. If you’d like another room type, call the hotel’s in-house reservations team at 506.529.8823 and reference the Boucher-Warren wedding when booking.
Golfers, you may want to stay an extra day. The Algonquin’s acclaimed seaside course has sweeping views of Passamaquoddy Bay—and is a very good reason to pack your clubs. Explore the course and reserve a tee time.
Other places to stay
These nearby properties offer a few different ways to make a weekend of it. They are not part of our room block, so availability and reservations are handled directly by each property.
St. Andrews
A small coastal town made for wandering slowly, eating well and staying out longer than planned.
St. Andrews is best explored without much of a plan. Start by the water, follow whatever looks interesting and allow far more time than seems reasonable.
Old storefronts, local shops, harbour views and the town’s easiest place to lose an hour.
Garden & sculptureKingsbrae GardenTwenty-seven acres of gardens, art, old-growth Acadian forest and more than 50,000 perennials.
History, trails & tidesMinisters IslandCross the ocean floor at low tide to visit the Van Horne estate and explore the coastal trails. Check the island’s published opening and crossing times before you go—they change daily with the tides.
Art & interiorsRoss Memorial MuseumA Georgian mansion filled with fine furniture, decorative arts and the wonderfully specific taste of its collectors.
Book the places you care about well ahead of time. Summer weekends are busy, and St. Andrews has far more good food than a town this size has any business having.
Season-led cooking shaped by the Atlantic coast and surrounding farms. Go slowly; that is the point.

The Bay of Fundy is not decorative background scenery. It changes the landscape, controls the schedule and provides some excellent ways to spend a day.
Ranked No. 13 among Canada’s public courses by SCOREGolf in 2025, with a Rod Whitman redesign and sweeping views of Passamaquoddy Bay. A good reason to pack your clubs. Reserve your tee time ahead.

St. Andrews is not exactly a city that never sleeps—but there are several excellent places for a nightcap, live music or one last round before wandering home.

The next chapter
After ten years, bringing the people who have been part of our lives together to one beautiful place feels like exactly the right way to begin the next decade.
